Full job description

Hébert Individualize Learning Services (HILS) offers behavioural and learning intervention to individuals of all ages with a range of needs.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in your community? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Behaviour Technician, utilizing the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

As a Behaviour Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing ABA strategies to improve the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges.

Do you speak French? This position is about 30 hours / week Monday to Friday.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Providing direct support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities.
Implementing behaviour intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to promote desired behaviors.
Assisting individuals in developing essential life skills and achieving their goals. Collecting and recording data to track progress and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A passion for helping individuals with diverse needs.
