Full job description

Seeking multiple part time and full time staff to work inside our 212 McAllister Dr location. We need to fill a variety of shifts but priority is for supper and late evening/ closing. Possibility to advance into a supervisory role upon completion of training. Health insurance available for full time employees.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Pizza Cook, where you will play a vital role in creating delicious, high-quality pizzas and ensuring an exceptional food service experience for our customers. This energetic position involves preparing ingredients, cooking pizzas to perfection, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver hot, fresh meals that keep our guests coming back for more. Duties

Prepare pizza ingredients such as dough, sauces, toppings, and cheese with precision and efficiency
Cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
Assist with food preparation tasks for other menu items as needed to support overall restaurant operations
Serve customers at the counter or via takeout orders with friendly, prompt service
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment operation

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations or previous kitchen experience is advantageous
