Full job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk on a full-time permanent basis on our Corporate Accounting team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

If you are an organized self-starter who is looking for exposure to a variety of commodities, we encourage you to apply!

What you’ll do:

Receive and respond to supplier correspondence in a timely manner.
Work closely with FCL commodities and suppliers to ensure accurate receiving and matching and address discrepancies.
Prepare journal entries and payable adjustments as required.
Reconcile accounts payable clearing accounts monthly.
Other duties as required.

The Team: You will work as part of a team with other Accounts Payable Clerks and will report into the Accounting Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and inclusivity while striving together to meet a common goal.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

Have a high school diploma and an introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution. Individuals with a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
