Full job description

Position Overview:

STR8 UP is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Assistant to support our finance and administration team. This position is responsible for entering financial information accurately, organizing records, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys working with numbers and details, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter invoices, donations, payments, and other financial information into QuickBooks.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Match receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Assist with bank reconciliations by gathering and organizing required information.
Help prepare documents for audits and reporting as requested.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director or Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience with QuickBooks is an asset but not required (training can be provided).
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in data entry, administration, bookkeeping support, or an office environment is an asset.
Experience working with a non-profit or charitable organization is an asset but not required.
