Full job description

Receptionist/Office Assistant

Core Rental Services Ltd. is looking for a administrative assistant & bookkeeper to fill a temporary position in our Saskatoon office. This position would be an 18 month contract to fill a maternity leave.

The individual must have strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy. This is not a remote position and the individual will be required to be onsite.

Job Type: Temporary (18 Months) Full-Time (Monday – Friday, Hours 8am - 4:30pm)

Qualifications:

Competency in various computer applications (Microsoft Office Programs and QuickBooks Online)
Knowledge of general office procedures, practices and equipment
Professional communication (written and verbal)
Customer service skills
Understand the importance of privacy & confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines without supervision
Valid driver’s license

This position involves keeping information up-to-date, parts ordering, data entry, preparing bank deposits and performing basic accounting procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful applicant must be competent in office procedures including, but not exclusive to:
Answering telephone/Reception
Multi-tasking
Invoicing and other data entry
Bank Reconciliations
Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
Tax Filings
Inventory Management
