Position Overview

We are currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious Tow Motor / Clamp Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Scarborough. This role is ideal for individuals with proven experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of heavy and sensitive materials while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate tow motors, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
Transport heavy and delicate roll materials throughout the facility.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Support production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Maintain accurate communication with supervisors and team members.
Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts.
Previous experience handling heavy, oversized, or sensitive materials.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in shipping and receiving operations is required.

Schedule

8-12 hour rotating shifts (days and nights).
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Flexibility to work a rotating schedule is essential.

Compensation & Benefits

$23.00 per hour.
Full-time, permanent position.
Stable, long-term employment opportunity.
On-site work environment.

Required Experience

Forklift / Clamp Truck Operation: Minimum 3 years (required).
Shipping & Receiving: Minimum 3 years (required).

Pay: $23.69 per hour
