Overview

We are looking for Breakfast Attendant (Maternity Leave Reliever), where your energy and hospitality skills will set the tone for our guests’ mornings! In this lively role, you will be the first smile our guests see, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while preparing and serving delicious breakfast offerings. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service talents and passion for food in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with their breakfast selections, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages, following food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to proper food handling procedures
Monitor inventory levels of breakfast supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Assist with setup and breakdown of the breakfast service area before and after shifts

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in breakfast or buffet service
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus, demonstrating comfort with food preparation and guest interaction
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Hospitality background that emphasizes attentiveness, efficiency, and teamwork
Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining a positive attitude
Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
