Front Desk Administrator
Victoria, BC | Full-Time
Monday–Thursday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No evenings or weekends

Poplar Dental Centre is a small, family-owned dental practice in Victoria, BC, known for providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Administrator to join our close-knit team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values organization and efficiency, and takes pride in being the welcoming first point of contact for patients.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
Answer phones, emails, and handle patient inquiries professionally
Process insurance submissions, payments, and billing inquiries
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Communicate effectively with the clinical team to support daily operations
Assist with general administrative and office duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Previous front desk experience or dental administration preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable multitasking in a busy office environment
Familiarity with dental software and insurance processes is an asset
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
