Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join our clients team. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently and manage a variety of accounting and payroll responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare month-end financial reports and reconciliations
Complete daily accounting entries
Track and maintain project/job costing
Prepare year-end documentation for the accountant
Process payroll accurately and on schedule
Administer employee benefits
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks

Qualifications

Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
Previous bookkeeping and payroll experience
Experience with month-end and year-end accounting processes
Knowledge of job costing and benefits administration is an asset
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
