Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable licensed Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for clients. This role offers opportunities to showcase creativity, build lasting client relationships, and grow within a dynamic retail setting.

Duties

Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of tools and workstations in compliance with health standards.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable hair care solutions.
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client satisfaction and sales.
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout each interaction.
Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training sessions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred; valid cosmetology license required.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent service.
Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
