About the Role

Holiday Inn Winnipeg South is looking for an experienced Construction Renovation Site Supervisor to oversee an on-site hotel renovation project. This is a contract position for the duration of the project, ideal for a hands-on supervisor who can manage trades, keep the job on schedule, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards while the hotel remains operational.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day renovation activities on site, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and vendors
Develop and maintain project schedules, flagging delays and adjusting plans as needed
Conduct daily site walkthroughs to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications
Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA/provincial safety regulations
Coordinate with hotel management and ownership to minimize disruption to guests and operations
Order and track materials, equipment, and deliveries
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation for project stakeholders
Address on-site issues, resolve conflicts between trades, and troubleshoot problems as they arise
Ensure work areas are secured, clean, and compliant with local building codes

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in construction supervision, ideally in renovation or hospitality/hotel projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and building codes
Experience coordinating multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, painting, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent an asset
Experience working in occupied/operating hotel environments a plus

Schedule

Full-time hours for the duration of the renovation project
On-site presence required (1330 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB)
