Job Overview

We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring smooth service operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process payments with cash handling proficiency
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
Assist with food preparation and serving as needed to support kitchen staff
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions and giving accurate change

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus but not mandatory
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
