Full job description

Runner/Support - No Vacancy

The Runner/Support is responsible for delivering food and drink orders promptly and accurately, bussing and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and supporting bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff throughout service. This role keeps the floor moving during high-volume periods, maintains cleanliness across guest-facing and back-of-house areas, and ensures a consistent, efficient guest experience. The Runner/Support upholds company service standards and contributes to a safe, organized, and high-energy bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Running and Delivery – Deliver food and drink orders from the kitchen and bar to the correct table or guest promptly and accurately, confirming orders match tickets and flagging discrepancies before delivery.
Table and Station Maintenance – Bus and reset tables quickly between guests, clear glassware and service ware, and keep runner stations, service bars, and expo areas stocked and organized.
Support Team and Operations – Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to keep tickets moving, communicate delays or 86'd items, and step in wherever the floor needs extra hands during rushes.
Guest Experience Support – Check in briefly when dropping items to confirm guests have what they need, relay guest requests to the appropriate team member, and contribute to a positive, high-energy atmosphere.
Ensure Safety and Compliance – Follow safe food and beverage handling and carrying practices, uphold sanitation standards across service areas, and report spills, hazards, or incidents promptly.

Compensation

Hourly wage + gratuity (tip pool share).

QualificationsEducation and Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or a fast-paced customer service role preferred.
Experience in a bar, pub, or high-volume restaurant environment is an asset.
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., Smart Serve, TIPS) may be required based on jurisdiction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong physical stamina and ability to carry trays, plates, and multiple drinks safely.
Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient in fast-paced environments.
Clear communication skills for coordinating with FOH and BOH teams.
Basic understanding of menu items, POS systems, or ticket workflows (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
