Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working with people and have a love for coffee and food, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a friendly demeanor.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the POS system efficiently for cash handling and transaction processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
Barista experience is preferred not required.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Experience with POS systems is a plus but training will be provided.
A passion for coffee, food preparation, and creating memorable experiences for customers is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are important for success in this role.
