The Opportunity
Mission Creek Landing is one of Kelowna's most established long-term care communities, nestled in a park-like setting beside Mission Creek Regional Park. For over 45 years, we've provided a safe, dignified home for seniors who can no longer live independently.
Now, we're entering our biggest chapter yet. We're expanding from 132 to 242 beds in Summer 2026 with new state-of-the-art equipment, and we're looking for Dietary Aides who want to grow with us.

What We're Offering You

What Your Days Will Look Like
- Assisting with meal prep and plating
- Serving meals in a respectful, resident- centered way
- Following special diets (Texture modified, diabetic, low sodium, thickened fluids)
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents and coworkers
- Upholding resident rights, dignity, confidentiality, and independence every single shift
What You Bring
- Valid Food Safe Certification
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and adapt with flexibility
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
- Successful Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Ability to follow dietary plans and safety protocols
- Compassion and Patience
- Attention to detail
