Full job description

Join the Food & Beverage team at Sparkling Hill Resort!

We are looking for friendly, energetic and dependable people to join our team in a variety of support positions, including Host/Hostess, Junior Server and Expeditor.

No extensive restaurant experience? That is perfectly fine. We hire for personality first and are happy to train candidates who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine interest in providing great service.

Whether you are attending school, looking for an enjoyable job with a focus on guest service, or interested in beginning a career in hospitality, this is a great place to gain experience, meet people and develop skills that will serve you wherever you go.

Staff accommodation is available in shared double rooms for full-time Sparkling Hill Resort employees working 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your position, you may:

Welcome guests and help create a warm, positive first impression.
Assist with seating, clearing and resetting tables, running food and supporting the service team.
Help coordinate food from the kitchen to the dining room so it reaches guests accurately and promptly.
Keep work areas clean, organized and ready for service.
Communicate with servers, culinary team members and leaders to help each shift run smoothly.
Learn our menus, service standards and the small details that create an exceptional guest experience.
Step in where needed and contribute to a supportive, team-focused workplace.

What You’ll Learn

Working in Food & Beverage is fast paced, social and rarely boring. Along the way, you will build practical skills that carry into almost any future career, including:

Confidence communicating with guests and coworkers.

Fine-dining service techniques, menu knowledge and beverage knowledge.
