Skilled Labourer – Boat Lift Manufacturing

We are a leading manufacturer of premium aluminum docks and hydraulic boat lifts. We are looking for a motivated, reliable Skilled Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position focused on cutting, drilling, and preparing aluminum components for production while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Cut aluminum extrusions, tubing, and plate to specified lengths using saws and cutting equipment.
Drill, punch, and machine aluminum components according to engineering drawings.
Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
Read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
Organize and stage materials for fabrication and assembly.
Operate shop equipment safely, including saws, drill presses, ironworkers, and other fabrication equipment.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
Assist with assembly and other manufacturing duties as required.
Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards and production schedules.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
Experience operating saws, drill presses, or metal fabrication equipment is preferred.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
Ability to read engineering drawings is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
