Position Title: Residential Building Manager
Location: 829 Old Esquimalt Rd, Esquimalt, BC V9A 4E5

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Residential Building Manager to oversee the daily operations of a brand-new residential property. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for residents while coordinating maintenance, vendor services, and tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential building.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and address inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
Conduct regular inspections of common areas, building systems, and exterior grounds.
Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and contractor services.
Respond to emergencies and ensure timely resolution of building issues.
Manage move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, incidents, and building activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property management regulations.
Assist with rent collection and administrative duties as required.
Monitor building security and enforce property rules and policies.
Assist with delivering notices and supporting rule/policy compliance.
Oversee suite showings, applications, and leasing support as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in residential property management, building management, office administration, or a related field.
Strong communication, multitask and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is an asset.
Strong knowledge of Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) regulations
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

Experience supervising contractors or maintenance staff.
Knowledge of local residential tenancy regulations.
First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
