Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food safety, and providing excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with consistency and attention to presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards within the food industry
Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
