Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will craft innovative and classic cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, food safety, and efficient service to ensure an outstanding experience for all patrons. Familiarity with bar prep methods is an asset, including infusions, clarifications, foams, & batching.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy hours through effective time management
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work in a hospitality environment that emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and high-quality service

Pay: $17.60 per hour
