Previvo is Winnipeg's leading longevity medicine and medical aesthetics clinic. We help patients optimize performance, extend healthspan, and enhance quality of life through advanced diagnostics, personalized medicine, and integrated wellness. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, nurse injectors, naturopathic doctors, exercise specialists, and allied health professionals working within a premium, patient-centered model.
We are growing rapidly and are building the clinical infrastructure to support a high-volume, high-complexity patient population. This role is central to that mission.
About the Role
This is a hybrid clinical and administrative role designed for a physician-trained professional who can operate above the standard MOA level. We are looking for someone who can assist directly in clinical settings, support nursing and allied health staff, coordinate the full patient journey from intake to follow-up, and deliver an exceptional experience in a fast-paced, innovative clinic.
This role is ideal for an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is actively pursuing CPSM Clinical Assistant pathway, and who wants meaningful clinical engagement. Candidates with strong MOA backgrounds and clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Patient Care
- Assist with patient consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
- Obtain and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, height, and weight
- Perform and support IV therapy workflows — preparation, setup, patient monitoring, and post-infusion documentation under physician direction
- Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and specimen collection; label, package, and coordinate lab samples - preferred
- Assist nurses, injectors, and allied health technicians during procedures, treatments, and assessments
- Prepare patients for Previvo's Baseline assessment, pillar program consultations, and aesthetic procedures
- Address patient clinical questions and concerns within scope, escalating appropriately to the physician or nurse
- Assist with minor procedures and injection preparation under physician supervision
- Maintain sterile technique, infection prevention and control (IPAC) standards, and instrument sterilization protocols
- Prepare, stock, sanitize, and maintain examination and procedure rooms
Clinical Documentation
- Gather patient history, chief complaint documentation, and chart preparation prior to physician consultations
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in Accuro and Jane EMR following each patient encounter
- Review incoming laboratory results, diagnostic reports, referrals, and medical records for completeness and organization
- Support with medical correspondence, referral letters, and clinical content development
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and clinical workflow optimization
- Ensure all documentation complies with PHIA and clinic privacy standards
Patient Coordination & Administration
- Deliver a premium, patient-centered experience throughout the full patient journey
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage patient appointments using Accuro EMR and Jane App
- Manage patient communication including reminders, recalls, follow-ups, and urgent result notifications
- Process patient payments for Previvo programs and services
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing-related inquiries and documentation
- Support patient onboarding, program enrollment, and navigation of Previvo's longevity and aesthetics offerings
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, nurses, and external providers
- Review and organize referrals, faxes, and incoming documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-desk and clinical environment
Qualifications
IMG / Physician-Trained Applicants
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from a recognized international institution
- NAC OSCE passed or in progress is a strong asset
- Eligible for or actively pursuing the CPSM Clinical Assistant pathway
- Strong clinical knowledge in general medicine, diagnostics, patient assessment, and physical examination
- Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, venipuncture, or point-of-care testing is a significant asset
- Canadian healthcare experience (clinical, research, laboratory, or plasma donation settings) is preferred
