Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Work with low voltage systems as well as standard electrical wiring.
Support the setup and teardown of construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Help troubleshoot electrical issues by following schematics and diagrams under supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience or familiarity with industrial electrician work is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage wiring is advantageous.
Strong interest in construction and electrical trades with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
Ability to work safely around construction sites and industrial environments.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Must be able to work physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights if necessary.
Willingness to obtain necessary certifications or licenses as required by local regulations or company policies.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
