What is the best part of working at the company?
Mentorship that the manager provides that helps you learn a lot to be able to start. The manager is always ready to help and mentor and answer your questions.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Heavy caseload. Sometimes although you have been told that you are not getting more than 2-4 referrals a week, you still get them. And if you don’t get an expert kinesiologist as the OTA.PTA assistant in the team, you are basically doing everything and just meeting the due dates. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good, supportive, friendly, not much intensives

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Assessments, report, checking on clients, report, documentation, so many phone calls to and fron the case managers and employers, possible job site visit, round, meeting

What is the best part of working at the company?
Terrible place of business at any location. Staff are horrible, clients yell at you and no one trains you properly so you get multiple meetings with managment getting mad at you for not folding towels how they want them folded.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. Don't work here. You do the job of two people and get paid very little money.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. Gloomy. Backstabbing. Hateful.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You have to do a lot away from your desk, laundry, folding, cleaning rooms. And then you miss a ton of phones calls which clients will yell at you when you finally call them back.

I enjoyed the clients as they were all nice. However the staff was very poor. I walked into this job always 15-20 minutes earlier then I was scheduled for. I did everything asked. Folded all laundry with little to 0 help during my 7.5 hours. I cleaned rooms alone. Felt like I was answering majority of calls. There was never any help given except constant judgement  from co workers who wouldn't communicate to myself personally instead they were very immature and reached out to a third party then myself having to read an email about it. I don't suggest anyone to work here. They don't help you in training properly but, instead watch you do everything. Just very immature attitudes.

Typically, worked in the Occupational Rehab programs alongside a Physio and an OT, but there are other opportunities outside of these programs as well. Nice to work in a team and learn from different clinicians. Management is supportive and allows for flexibility and workplace culture is equally supportive with team-based approach. Hardest part of the job is paperwork and navigating worker's comp policies with clients, but it gets easier with experience. The people you work with are the most enjoyable part of the job.

Sometimes you have to work  long hours because client’s coming late…

Multi-cultural and good working environment

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Client’s and staffs are like big family.

Worst job ever. Leadership was non existent- inexperienced owners with no management training. The owners promoted more inexperienced personnel to “management” roles fir additional layer of inefficiency. Company applied for empty award status to claim ‘top employer’ credit but the awards are essentially purchased.

The company grew very quickly during my 5 years with them.  They were awarded many Back to Work BC contracts during this time and as a result the company doubled in size and locations in a matter of months. It was a very exciting time and I made many friends that I still cherish.

Working at Back in Motion Rehab is generally a positive experience. The team environment is supportive, with friendly colleagues and strong collaboration across departments.it’s a great role for someone who enjoys relationship-building, multitasking, and contributing to client and community success.

Racism exists in Back in motion. The turn over of employees is unbelievable and staff are impatient.
Training is insufficient and they are rude, judgemental and horrible.
I would never allow job postings for a place that judges you and disgraced employees

Zero benefits & job security. Good team work. I would not recommend this place based on the fact that it has no security and you get absolutely zero benefits. If you take a day you miss a pay.
