The best part about working at HealthOne are your co-workers.

The leadership team, directors of the departments and general manager consists of many company owners and investors. This makes is very difficult to give any feedback about the leadership team to the general manger. In one way or another they are all either related or long time friends

The leadership team has no sense of what is actually going on at the front desk of their department’s. They ask their receptionists to do a variety of time consuming tasks while only having on one receptionist at a time in the busy clinic. Leaving some of the tasks to be done poorly.

The feeling that is given from the leadership team is that we are all replaceable. As it’s understandable that this is true, your staff should not feel like that. When asking for a raise you are given the ring around. They basically say that you need to do a,b,c and d which are Tasks that you will never be able to do to their satisfaction. And if they don’t do that, they leave you in limbo for sometimes months on end. 

Me personally, I did not feel that I would be considered for any advancement in my position and once that feeling came over me it was just another reason for me to decide it was my time to leave HealthOne. 

The “benefits” that HealthOne provides is also a joke. They do not provide actually Health benefits. They provide a discount program that you can only use within the departments of HealthOne.  With it being located right downtown the prices at HealthOne are almost doubled then clinics outside of the downtown core. The discount program is not good at all. It would be cheaper for me to go get a massage or dental work close to where I live with no discount. 

They also consider their birthday lunches and offsite Christmas party another perk to working there. As great as it is to have your birthday recognized and to have a pizza lunch or subway lunch provided. I would much rather have proper Health benefits. Considering that every department usually does something small for their coworkers birthday. 

All in all, the people you will work with are amazing and you will feel a sense of family. Other than that, I would look for employment elsewhere. 



This place isn't your typical clinic. We're all about throwing cool community events and pushing for better health in fun ways. It's like being part of something bigger...The culture is super welcoming. It's not just about work; it's about making real connections and helping each other grow. Plus, our bosses? They're awesome! They actually listen to our ideas and want to shake things up in healthcare.

Okay, so trying new things isn't always smooth sailing. We've had our share of "oops" moments while figuring stuff out. It can get kinda stressful, but it's all part of the game when you're doing something new.

 But HealthOne gets it. They're big on making sure we're not overdoing it and have our chill time. Plus, we all have each other's backs, which really helps when things get inte

So, working here? It's pretty great. We're doing cool stuff, making a difference, and I'm loving the journey. Sure, it's a bit of a rollercoaster sometimes, bu hey, that's what makes it exciting

I've grown so much personally and professionally here! HealthOne truly values work-life balance and make their employees' health and wellness a priority. I have been able to collaborate with lots of other team members on exciting projects and I always feel comfortable voicing my opinion and bringing new ideas to the table. They have a great wellness program for their employees and have fun work perks like themed days, snacks, team events etc. that I always look forward to. Everyone really believes in the mission statement of living an inspired life which inspires me to do my best at work each day. I can't say enough good things about working at HealthOne! 

Having worked at HealthOne for 6 years, I can't say enough good things about them. From the get-go, I felt like I was part of a family, working in an environment that's warm and welcoming.

What sets HealthOne apart is how much they care about helping their employees grow. They offer tons of opportunities for learning and development, which not only improved my skills but also gave me the confidence to tackle new challenges.

One of the best things about HealthOne is their dedication to making sure every voice is heard and valued. They actively work to include and appreciate everyone, and it's refreshing to be part of a team that truly lives up to its commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

I have found my time at HealthOne very enjoyable. Like with many jobs, there are good days and slightly more challenging days but we have a great and supportive team here! 

The management team is very approachable and have coached and mentored me to grow into the position that I am in today. Through them and the rest of the team, I have learnt a lot about the business and industry. 

One of the best parts about the job is meeting so many different people across all departments. It all adds to a great team and workplace culture! And it makes coming into work fun. 

I have grown so much and gained many new skills since working here. 
Owners/Management really look out for their employees and work with them to help them grow and advance in the company. 
Everyone tends to work together and lend a hand where needed. 
Everyone is encourage to use their vacation days so that they can recharge and are not overworked. Pay and benefits structure is comparable to other companies.  You are able to balance your work life an family life really easily



I love working here because of the amazing people. They are so caring and helpful to each other and to the patients.  Management loves to hear new ideas and ways to approach things, they listen to you and make the time for connection.
I wanted to find a place that was looking at health services in a new way - and I found the right spot! What keeps me here is the passion from all, the people who work here and the goals of the company.  Little company perks and the central location of the clinic to transit are also fantastic!!!

It was not an easy decision to leave this company because I loved the people I worked with. But, the sketchy comments and actions from the leadership team ultimately helped me make up my mind to leave my position here. Beware of what you are told during the interview process versus actually working in your position. The leadership team is good at talking about certain things and not executing them. 

In working to this clinic, I have learned a lot of things including but not limited to : triaging patients, administering vaccines, administering B12 shots, assessing patients, booking appointments, and follow-up with patients consultations. 
The management in this clinic are very helpful and considerate, they provide a good working environment to their employees. Additionally, my co-workers are all very helpful and respectful. It never feels like work.

The workplace was a great environment. Everyone there wants everybody else to get better in terms of sales, visits, etc. The staff are amazing people to begin with. Great vibes and hardly any drama. The upper management is super stingy on raises though. I've been working there for more than 2 years and didn't ask for a raise. The moment I asked for a raise they said "Oh, we need to discuss this." and never got back to me.
