My experience at Pacific Quorum Properties was overwhelmingly negative. The company does not uphold the core values it claims to stand for—these were often laughed at by both staff and clients who saw how disconnected they were from reality.  

Concerns from both employees and clients were routinely ignored. Management avoided necessary confrontations, allowing staff who repeatedly failed to show up to continue working without consequence. Meanwhile, the rest of the team was left to pick up the slack with no support.

Reception was constantly berated by clients and other staff due to issues beyond their control—like late contractor payments and accounting mistakes—with little to no help or intervention from management. Instead of taking responsibility, property managers consistently blamed reception and accounting for their own errors.

Petty cash was rarely reimbursed, leaving reception without change for in-person payments, and overall pay was poor relative to expectations. The culture is disorganized, unsupportive, and demoralizing.

I do not recommend working here unless significant changes are made in leadership and accountability.

Strata Property Management depends on the strata property agents to keep the Owners and Strata Council of the strata corporation happy with good service from both the agent and the accounting department. Any issues must be resolved quickly and efficiently. 
As an agent you are multi tasking constantly with email inquiries, phone calls, chairing Council Meetings, obtaining quotes for work on the buildings, managing construction projects, managing in house staff, managing regular contractors such as landscapers, cleaners, etc. , signing contracts on behalf of the strata corporation, holding special and general meetings, changing bylaws and rules, dealing with problems between owners or owners and Council, upholding the Strata Property Act and enforcing bylaws. It also included attending to Court when required, collections and foreclosures. The position also included preparing annual budgets, approving the monthly financial reports, preparing Minutes of meetings, approving invoices for payment.

I worked here for three years and in the end was pushed out by a manager who took a disliking to me. I couldn’t trust anyone around me and was constantly being monitored by coworkers for any mistake I made, anything I said or did they didn’t like. They are not a very forgiving company and it was not a good place to work. 
The pay was low, the workload is incredibly stressful and if someone was upset it always got dumped onto me.  I would express my concerns about things  and then get in trouble for speaking up. 
The HR in the company is not good and no one is trained in this. I would go to them with something and instead of keeping it anonymous it would be brought directly to the people I would be asking for help with or expressing concern about.
Avoid at all costs. This company is horrible. 

This position is hyped to sound like a great, fun-loving, culture forward place, but in reality, 
training is very poor, and the expectations and volume of work are insane. The environment is  very toxic. Be prepared for managers to step on your career to advance on their own.
You get blamed for things that aren’t even your fault but manager's. On top  of that Managers don’t have much experience or training  in dealing  with people, so unprofessional and unjust,  that is why turn over is very high.
They don’t care how hard you work, they don't appreciate it.  If you make a mistake they  will make you feel worthless and find a reason to lay you off. They don’t understand it is not beneficial for the company to be hiring and training so many people every single month. They are very used to it.
I regret I had not  read these reviews  before applying to this company.


Working for this company as a Property Accountant was always very challenging because there was not support to new employees and no time to learn new tasks properly. Portfolio was more than 30 accounts including Financials statements, Bank Rec, preparing budgets, tons of emails, phone calls and taxes. 
Accounting Management was very poor and unprofessional.There was no room to grow and the salary was very low, no increases, no bonus just promises. Turnover very high.



The company was pretty relaxed about when you came in and left, as long as you were putting in your 8 hours. The team were fun and supportive. My direct manager was amazing and very understanding.
They offer more time off than most companies in the area that I can think of.
The work itself was relatively fast-paced
The only issue was that the Accounting department felt like it was at the bottom of the hierarchy and left to resolve a lot of issues that the Property Managers should have been dealing with 

This company took over a company I had been working for for quite a few years. They don't care about anything accept for making their dollar. Was told that admins make too much already and we shouldn't expect to get raises. They are great at mismanagement  and dismissing when you have any issues. They mishandle issues and are too lazy to figure out an actual problem in a workplace.  Steer Clear. They do not care about people. Just money.

Property management is a fast paced industry where if you want to succeed you need to have drive and determination. 
Pacific Quorum provides opportunities to this that want it. 
Friendly snd helpful staff and management are knowledgeable and willing to help anytime.

Very stressful environment
No  room for advancement
Managers lack integrity

Pacific Quorum Vancouver office is utterly stereo type in the management, hard to maintain the clients when they can't commit to providing the service timely, high turnovers of the employees, no work/life balance at all, and lack timely communications with the clients.
