working as a student worker in a school library, the main job duty is to reshelve books if I work during he day time. If I have evening or Saturday shift, I will be sitting at the circulation desk doing everything myself including sign-in and sign-out books for the borrowers, answer questions and phone inquiries. Sometimes I will need to repair the torn books if it is not busy and I may need to help the acquisition technician checking new books information through their system.

Since I will be the only one sitting at the circulation desk in the evening and on Saturdays, so the hardest part of the job is to do everything and making decision myself. When it is busy on Saturday, I may have not have enough time for my lunch.

However, I enjoy this job because I like reading books. Also, I know more about the call no system for the books the location of the books when the borrowers asked for the information.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The campus itself is beautiful, but that's about where the positives end.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Managing the outdated infrastructure and equipment, which often broke down, no values and respect for tradpersons

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Limited opportunities for growth and development and unsupportive management 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lack of autonomy and micromanaging, unclear goals and objectives.
Typical day is full of workload, checks and rounds around the building, apart from interior building one can expect landscaping duties too, facility maintenance team is there but still superior ask to trade persons to do these duties, they don't like someone sits in power house office for reporting or breaks

Fair workplace if you want to practice your faith, this organization mainly hires ( Christians, orthodox) or of that nature. Make sure you read there mission statement. Do not waste time applying if you do not fall under those category as they will question you what your faith is during the interview process. Team is not strong as presented in the interview. Definitely was not a positive work environment. If you are looking to purse a undergraduate or graduate studies, the experience is 5/5 but if you are looking to pursue a career, please be ready to sacrifice your salary/benefits as this organization is still growing and under-pays staff.

I learned a great deal about reception and administrative duties. Also learned about conflict resolution and various aspects of campus operations and services. 
Would work 3-11pm shifts on evenings and 9am-3pm shifts on weekends, weekday shifts were not available to student receptionists. Heavy workload, no benefits, did not consider that student receptionists were students at Tyndale and needed time to attend courses and complete schoolwork.

The culture and workplace do not match at all. Although this workplace practices there faith through various styles like holding chapels and events, many employees do not have time to even attend. The management especially HR needs a change in manager. Huge turn over rates within  the last 2 years. Would not recommend this the HR department if you are seeking for an opportunity.

The life of an RA, resident adviser, is never off. While on residence the role is always in effective, it is challenging and rewarding. There is a variety of meetings and events an RA must prepare and in Tyndale's context the position is indeed a ministry. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This was not a good environment. The management is very suspicious of its employees, and the employees are suspicious of the management. Complaints are not dealt with properly (i.e., in accordance with OHRC). Most people do not last longer than a couple of years. Lots of turnover among the Faculty, Staff, and even at the VP level.

•	Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
•	Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies 
•	Resolve customer complaints 
•	Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
•	Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

Employers are understanding of your overall health and wellbeing as a person. Working in a Christian environment ensures that you are encouraged to rest, take breaks, and care for yourself when needed. Furthermore, employers regularly encourage you in your role and share their vision for your career trajectory. Fabulous place to work!

The workplace is amazing, everyone supports you and bosses are all down to earth. When you make a mistake, nobody will yell at you and they will address your mistake in the nices way. I love the job because it's one of my dream jobs besides being in the gaming industry. Tyndale is the best Christian organization that I ever work to.
