We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role involves creating beautiful and delicious baked goods, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation, baking, and kitchen experience, with a focus on cake decorating and food handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food industry environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products that delight our customers.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections
Decorate cakes with creative designs using cake decorating techniques
Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes while maintaining quality standards
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries
Follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed for special orders or dietary requirements
Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely production and delivery of products

Requirements

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Strong skills in kitchen operations, including cooking, food packaging, and presentation
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in food industry roles such as bakery, restaurant, or catering is preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required
