Full job description

Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loader Operator to support our shipping and receiving operations. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as a front-end loader and Pettibone to safely move and manage tubular products and accessories.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Please note: Tenaris requires employees to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and fit test for this position as it is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day yard activities upon completion of training, including supporting Yard Technicians
Perform daily safety inspections and preventative maintenance checks on equipment
Safely load, unload, and transport tubular products and accessories for shipment
Prepare loads for third-party transportation with accuracy and care
Clean and maintain heavy equipment as required
Ensure equipment is properly secured and stored when not in use
Participate in routine equipment and yard maintenance
Support seasonal yard upkeep (winter, spring, summer, and fall readiness)
Perform additional duties as required to support operations

Qualifications

Loader/Operator certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving
At least 1 year of experience operating a wheel loader with grapples, preferably handling OCTG materials
Experience with Pettibone equipment and/or front-end loaders is strongly preferred
Forklift certification is an asset (training available after hire)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
SAP experience is considered an asset
