Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Rate: Starting from $35/hr, final wage based on experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday; 08:00-16:30
What You’ll Do:
1. Troubleshoot, debugging and resolving Avionic, Instrumentation and Components
2. Use of special instruments for diagnostics
3. Ability to interpret manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other resources
4. Utilize technical schematics to diagnose and repair components and systems.
5. Demonstrate the ability to diagnose issues from complex systems and apply effective solutions.
6. Accurate completion of required paperwork in accordance with published procedures, manuals and documentation
7. Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
8. Maintain a clean working environment
What We’re Looking For:
1. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, a strong mechanical aptitude, strong electronics background and the ability to troubleshoot to component level.
2. 5 years experience in Aviation Instrumentation, Avionic or Component bench experience is preferred.
3. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
4. Previous experience using magnification tools (e.g. microscopes, magnifying glasses) for precise soldering is required.
5. Ability to read and follow drawings and work instructions for PCB assembly.
6. Experience working with electronics component and electrical troubleshooting, preferably within aviation instrumentation, avionics or components.
7. Strong mechanical aptitude.
8. Experience with gyro bench repairs and overhauling is an asset but not required.
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong technical proficiency and a solid understanding of electronics.
11. Excellent communication skills and ability to troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision.
12. Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills – to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications.
