Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions across various departments. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare quotes, process orders, and assist customers with product information
Handle filing systems and organize documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing
Schedule drivers and courier shipments
Maintain filing systems, handle data entry, and manage confidential information
Support administrative tasks such as preparing Excel spreadsheets, emailing, filing , and maintaining various office documents
Assist with social media updates, newsletters, and blog posts
Learn and use customized software tools as required
Qualifications
At least three years experience in an office setting, including administrative roles
Experience with inventory management is preferred
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping practices is preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Marketing knowledge is considered and asset
Previous experience with filing systems, administrative support tasks, and customer support roles
Able to lift 35 lbs. (16 kg) and pass a background check
This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and professionalism are valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations while providing exceptional support to staff and customers alike.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
