Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and order picking tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts, Raymond Reach & counter balance to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse
Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Assist in inventory management by organizing stock and ensuring proper storage procedures
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
Support warehouse distribution activities by preparing shipments and organizing incoming goods
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Use basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment

Requirements

Proven experience operating forklifts, Raymond Reach & counter balance in a warehouse setting
Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, lifting, and moving materials
Valid forklift certification/license preferred but not mandatory; training provided if necessary

Pay: From $17.60 per year
