Tank310 Assistant Manager

(A.K.A. Service Standard Setter / Vibe Curator / Keeper of the Closing Keys) Full Time/Permanent

The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is on the hunt for a strong, steady, hospitality-loving human to join the crew as Assistant Manager at TANK310.

Perched above the brewery with some of the best views in Canmore, TANK310 is where craft beer, elevated food, and memorable guest experiences come together. And we need someone who can help lead that experience from the front.

You’ll be working alongside the Director of Brewery Hospitality (your fearless leader) and helping guide a team that brings the energy every day.

So… what are you actually doing here?

If you land this role, you’ll be:

Leading the Front of House team and keeping service standards tight
Closing the restaurant (yes, you get the keys — treat them with respect)
Jumping in wherever needed across both locations
Planning and executing events (yes, the fun kind, but also the organized kind)
Handling guest feedback like a pro — in person and online
Supporting hiring, training, and developing the team
Working closely with other departments (we’re all in this together)
Keeping operations smooth, organized, and aligned
Knowing the menu inside and out (beer knowledge = extra cool points)
Driving revenue through smart service and communication
Following all safety, health, and sanitation requirements (non-negotiable)
Keeping records clean and processes consistent
Considering the environmental impact of decisions (we love the mountains, we respect the mountains)
Taking on “other duties as assigned” (mild chaos, but like… fun chaos)

What we’re looking for (a.k.a. you, hopefully):

Proven leadership experience in a busy restaurant environment
Strong hospitality instincts and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Someone who can multitask without melting
A natural problem-solver who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A team-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Current ProServe certification
Passion for craft beer and the hospitality industry (critical)

Bonus points if you have:

Experience with banquets or event planning
Entry-level Cicerone certification (beer nerds, we see you)
Post-secondary education in a related field
A knack for balancing people, operations, and numbers

Physical reality check (we keep it real here):

You’ll be on your feet a lot
You might lift heavy things (yes, kegs count)
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment
You’ll absolutely interact with humans (many of them)
