Laumar Design Ltd. is a well-established, growing renovation company specializing in high-rise residential rental unit renovations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our company manages multiple active projects simultaneously and works with various subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality renovation services efficiently and professionally.
We are currently seeking an experienced, highly organized, and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee multiple renovation sites and coordinate daily operations between the warehouse, subcontractors, project managers, and ownership team.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the day-to-day supervision of renovation projects in occupied and vacant high-rise residential buildings.
This position requires someone with strong construction knowledge and expertise, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple sites daily.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in high-rise renovations from A to Z, understand Ontario building codes and site requirements, and be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Material Coordination
- Coordinate morning material pickups with subcontractors
- Prepare and organize materials based on pick lists
- Ensure all required materials are ready for daily site operations
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
- Maintain organization and inventory control within the warehouse/deposit area
Site Supervision & Project Oversight
- Travel daily between multiple renovation sites across Toronto and the GTA
- Monitor (and supervise) quality of workmanship completed by the subcontractors/trades
- Ensure projects are progressing according to schedule and company standards
- Identify deficiencies and recommend practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building requirements, and company procedures
- Take accurate measurements and detailed site photos
- Prepare reports and communicate daily updates to the Owner and Project Manager
- Verify completed work and report deficiencies or concerns promptly
Technical & Operational Responsibilities
- Understand all phases of high-rise renovation projects, including:
- Flooring
- Painting
- Drywall
- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Electrical coordination
- Plumbing coordination
- Finishing work
- Read and interpret renovation scopes and drawings
- Ensure work complies with Ontario building codes and condominium/high-rise building regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in high-rise residential renovation/construction supervision
- Strong knowledge and expertise in renovation work from A to Z
- Solid understanding of Ontario building codes and construction practices
- Experience supervising multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to take accurate site measurements and detailed progress photos
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle required
- Comfortable travelling daily between multiple job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rental unit turnover renovations
- Experience working in occupied high-rise buildings
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and project coordination
- Familiarity with material management and logistics

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs
