Job Overview
Hi there!!

Here at Wynona Restaurant We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our busy restaurant team. We're hiring a line cook to get trained on pasta/ grill station with future opportunity to move into a sous chef role. This a 4 day work week (40-44 hours)! Closed on Sundays. Also above standard weekly tip out

The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, work in a vibrant food industry setting, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests in our open kitchen. Candidates should have a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures, along with at least two years restaurant or kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and restaurant policies at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during each shift

Experience

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Experience making pasta would be highly beneficial
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices is a plus
Strong understanding of serving, food presentation, and customer service principles
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards
