Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and care, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role requires a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall operation of the restaurant while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred, especially in a kitchen setting
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Experience working with various kitchen equipment and tools required for meal preparation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
