Delta Valley Landscaping Ltd. is a leading general contractor based in Edmonton, Alberta, specializing in the creation of beautiful greenspaces, sports parks and earthworks for respected land developers and providing ongoing snow removal and lawn maintenance for some of Edmonton’s Largest commercial, industrial and residential clients. We have grown to become an industry leader with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Pay: CA$20.00 - CA$27.00 per hour

General Responsibilities

· Operate a range of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.

· Prepare and grade soil, and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers.

· Collaborate with the team to execute landscaping designs, ensuring quality workmanship and attention to detail.

· Follow project timelines and complete tasks efficiently.

· Ensure a clean and organized work environment

· Completing daily logs, on company approved software

· Ability to work in any weather conditions-Assist with various landscaping projects including hardscapes, softscapes, and new developments

General Requirements

· Own transportation to get to and from work

· Cellphone for GPS, communication with management, completing all required forms

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

· Valid Drivers License

· Proven experience as a skilled labourer/landscaper, preferably in a professional landscaping company.

· Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, light and heavy-duty equipment

· Knowledge of hardscaping techniques, softscaping principles, and plant care.

· Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

· Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

· CSTS

· WHMIS

· First Aid is an asset
