The Opportunity:
Lead Finance at an AI healthcare SaaS company on an active path to IPO. This is a build-from-ownership role, not a fix-what's-broken one, reporting directly to the CFO, with real influence over strategy at a company that's grown over 8,000% and already operates across five countries.

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary + 20% annual bonus
Equity: Eligible to participate in the BoomerangFX Stock Option Plan after 6 months, ahead of an active IPO timeline, a rare opportunity to build real equity upside at this stage of a company's growth
Benefits
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid vacation to rest and recharge
- Free on-site parking for your convenience

With headquarters in Toronto and offices in the U.S. (Miami, Las Vegas), UK, Australia, and Barbados, we're a global, PE-backed enterprise built on a recession-resilient business model, private-pay healthcare isn't tied to insurance reimbursement cycles, in a rapidly expanding market.
Our integrated SaaS platform spans practice management, EMR, scheduling, lead generation, and digital marketing for medspas, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, dental, and vision clinics, helping hundreds of clinics grow revenue and streamline operations.
Your Role in a Nutshell
As Senior Director of Finance, you'll own the full finance function, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance, reporting directly to the CFO. This is more than a numbers role: we're looking for a genuine business partner who can sit at the table with Sales, Operations, and Product, not just report results after the fact. You'll help navigate complexity most finance leaders don't get exposure to, multiple product lines spanning SaaS and AI, and multi-entity operations across five countries.
What You Will Do
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning
- Build financial models, KPI reporting, and executive dashboards
- Act as a strategic business partner to cross-functional leaders, not just a reporting function
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency
Department Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team
- Build scalable processes and internal controls to support continued growth
- Help make the CFO's day-to-day easier by proactively surfacing insights, not just responding to requests
- Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, resource planning, and financial performance
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and executive dashboards
- Maintain oversight of AP, AR, payroll, treasury, banking, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and all applicable financial reporting requirements
- Manage external audits and serve as primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and corporate governance processes
- Oversee HST filings, corporate tax support, and regulatory compliance
Vendor & Systems Management
- Own relationships with key financial vendors, including banking, payroll, ERP/accounting systems, and insurance providers
- Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Lead the modernization of finance systems and reporting tools, a genuine opportunity to rebuild infrastructure for scale, not just maintain what exists
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and financial visibility across the organization
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Success, HR, and Technology to support strategic initiatives
- Provide financial guidance for new products, pricing strategies, investments, acquisitions, and business initiatives
- Support board reporting, investor requests, due diligence activities, and financing initiatives as the company moves toward IPO
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA designation (Canada) required

- 8–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including direct people management
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls
- Experience managing external vendors, auditors, financial institutions, and third-party service providers
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational improvements
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- SaaS, software, or technology company experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction, or MNC environments is a strong asset
- Experience supporting fundraising, private equity, M&A, or board reporting is a strong asset
