Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately with professional phone etiquette
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records, including filing and organizing documents
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing office supplies, and supporting staff with clerical duties
Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar software when necessary
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or as a receptionist; medical or dental office experience is a plus
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage filing systems and administrative tasks effectively
Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with proofreading skills for accuracy
Prior experience in customer support roles preferred but not required

Pay: $18.15-$19.00 per hour
