Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Early Childhood Educators to join our dynamic team. These roles are vital in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for young children. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing educational programs, supporting children's developmental needs, and collaborating with colleagues to promote a positive learning atmosphere. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly valued, especially for working with diverse populations including children with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while developing your professional skills in early childhood education.

Duties

Design and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care
Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding developmental progress and classroom activities
Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities using computer systems
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and classroom management strategies
Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as organization, time management, and professionalism
Utilize strong communication skills to engage children in meaningful interactions and support their learning goals
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies

Requirements

Formal training or certification in early childhood education (Level 2 or Level 3) is required
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently within a busy classroom environment
Demonstrated leadership qualities such as initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs in a respectful manner
