Roustan Sports, a division of True Sports, is looking for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join the team.

About the Role

The QuickBooks bookkeeper records daily financial transactions, processes accounts payable/receivable, manages payroll, and reconciles bank statements using QuickBooks software. They track debits and credits, generate financial statements (like P&L and balance sheets), and help prepare records for tax time.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Recording: Enter and categorize daily sales, expenses, and receipts.
Invoicing & Billing: Create, send, and track client invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify balance accuracy.
Reporting: Generate cash flow reports, income statements, and balance sheets.
Payroll Processing: Calculate and process bi-weekly payroll, including relevant tax filings.
Compliance: Support annual audits and assist with corporate or personal tax preparations.
Other office duties as assigned such as PO's, shipping admin, office admin

Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in accounting software, primarily QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles (such as double entry) and high attention to detail.
Competency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with Canadian payroll and tax remittances (GST/HST/CRA requirements for local candidates).
