HOUSEKEEPER

Reporting To: General Manager

Location: GYMVMT, Macleod

Hours: Full Time- Monday to Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness facilities, equipment, and change rooms in accordance with brand standards and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. This role ensures a safe and clean environment for all employees, guests, and members.

Responsibilities

Completes daily and weekly housekeeping checklists as assigned and scheduled keeping facility and common areas cleaned and maintained.
Properly clean all equipment.
Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors.
Cleans up spills with appropriate equipment.
Cleans and stocks change rooms and bathrooms.
Uses all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals.
Identifies any problems with equipment or building maintenance reporting all issues to General Manager.
Performs special cleaning projects as assigned.
Assist in keeping track of supplies, stocking accordingly.
Attends all required training sessions and meetings.
Adheres to and maintain all safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with COVID-19 provincial requirements.
Reports all member complaints to General Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Custodial experience an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent, an asset.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with employees, guests, and members.
