Job Description
Artisan Aesthetics is looking for an experienced Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our growing team.
This position will primarily support our Ajax clinic, with regular support in Brooklin and occasional coverage in Port Hope as needed.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about skincare, confident in consultations and treatment recommendations, and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences and results.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical aesthetic treatments including laser hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels, medical-grade facials, skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, and body contouring treatments
- Conduct professional skin analyses and consultations
- Create customized treatment plans based on client goals and concerns
- Recommend treatment packages, memberships, and medical-grade skincare
- Educate clients on treatment expectations, pre-care, post-care, and maintenance plans
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service and follow-up
- Support clinic revenue goals through treatment and retail sales
- Participate in retention and reactivation initiatives
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and clinic spaces are clean, organized, and professional
- Follow all clinic protocols, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Participate in social media content, treatment photography, videos, promotions, and clinic marketing initiatives
- Represent Artisan Aesthetics professionally both in clinic and online
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical aesthetics clinic
- Medical Aesthetics Diploma or equivalent certification required
- Laser certification and hands-on laser experience required
- Strong knowledge of skincare, treatment planning, and medical-grade products
- Experience performing consultations and recommending treatment plans
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, polished, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working toward sales and performance goals
- Reliable transportation and ability to work between Ajax and Brooklin locations
- Saturday availability is mandatory. Please do not apply if you are unable to work Saturdays.
- Availability to work evenings
- Occasional Port Hope coverage as needed
