Our Investigative Services Department is seeking a Coordinator, Investigative Services to join their team!
Reporting to the Director, Investigative Services, you are responsible for developing, coordinating, maintaining, enforcing and administering the TTC’s: Non-Employee Transportation Pass program for Councillors, Contractor Services, ACAT and CNIB and; Property Permit Program. As Coordinator Investigative Services, you are also responsible for coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organization and effectiveness, providing guidance and direction to departmental staff regarding administrative functions. To this end, you will perform departmental payroll administration, purchase orders, monitoring of budgeted expenses, monthly reports, inventory, etc. You are also responsible for providing various administrative services for the Director- Investigative Services, and other departmental managers and staff as assigned.
- You will prepare and process all cheque requests and documentation.
- Ensure the provision of efficient office operations and procedures with the co-ordination and administration of programs, initiatives and activities for the Investigative Services department.
- As Coordinator Investigative Services, you will verify and approve invoices, research, identify, compile, analyze and prepare statistics and information related to departmental operations.
- You will be required to participate in the TTC's Customer Service Ambassador Program.

- Your educational background including completion of a college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (eg. Administration) or combination of education, training and/or experience deemed to be equivalent is integral and will contribute to the success of this role.
Your application will demonstrate good knowledge of budget preparation/control principles and practices; financial monitoring and record-keeping practices; research methods and techniques.
- Must possess sound judgement; well-developed organizational and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to deal with people at various levels.
- Your application will demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and applications in the preparation of various spreadsheets, databases and word processing applications related to the work (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as internal mainframe databases).
- Your ability to coordinate special projects is required.
- Must have demonstrated experience managing and maintaining sensitive and confidential matters.
