What’s the Opportunity?
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Industrial Painter/Sandblaster to join our dynamic team.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Janitorial Services: Ensure the general maintenance of premises, commercial locations and equipment according to established standards.
· Coordination with site foremen: Work closely with foremen to plan and monitor the inventory of materials.
· Inventory Management: Control and maintain inventory of materials and equipment.
· Delivery and collection of goods: Transport equipment between different sites or suppliers, respecting deadlines and safety procedures.
· General work on construction sites: Participate in daily support tasks on construction sites, including cleaning, handling and assistance to technical teams.
· Sandblasting, painting and cleaning of industrial parts: Prepare metal surfaces or other materials by sandblasting, according to technical specifications. Apply paint coatings to industrial parts in compliance with quality and safety standards. Ensure the cleaning and preparation of parts before or after treatment, according to established procedures.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a shop, sandblasting, industrial painting
- Experience with tools
- Valdi driving license and good driving record
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, and Confined Space training (assets)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
