- Create training matrices, onboarding and refresher content, supervisor safety leadership tools, toolbox talks, safety meeting materials, and competency tracking practices.
- Implement incident, near-miss, hazard, inspection, investigation, root-cause, and corrective action processes that encourage timely reporting, learning, accountability, and prevention.
- Partner with operational and corporate leaders to embed safety into daily routines, monitor HSE KPIs and trends, lead audits and site visits, support regulatory and customer requirements, and promote a positive speak-up safety culture.
What Makes You Successful
- You are a practical, people-first safety leader who can translate complex requirements into clear, scalable standards and routines.
- You have strong HSE management system, compliance, auditing, incident investigation, training, data analysis, communication, and influencing skills.
- You take ownership of safety strategy, governance, reporting, documentation, corrective actions, and follow-through.
- You are dependable, safety-minded, fair, and focused on consistent standards, proactive risk reduction, and doing things the right way.
- You collaborate effectively with executives, managers, supervisors, frontline employees, Branch Operations, Service, Dispatch, Drivers, Sales, HR, Finance, and leadership.
- You use audits, data, incidents, employee feedback, and field observations to continuously improve safety systems, training, controls, and workflows.
