We are hiring a Marketing & Project Manager to join our growing Sales & Marketing team in Grimsby!
Candidates must have previous long-term experience in a similar role responsible for campaign development, marketing, and website management, with a strong background in project management supporting a Senior Management team. This role will also support with planning, scheduling, and material preparation for networking events or tradeshows. Candidates must also be available for local, national, and international travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and other networking events approximately 10% of the year as needed. We are seeking a confident individual with a high degree of professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills, who demonstrates creative and innovative thinking and decision-making abilities. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Shift Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; Minimum 40 hours per week
- Available for extended travel on weekdays, which may rarely bridge over a weekend or into the evening, for customer visits/outings and tradeshows. Common travel methods include air and car travel.
Compensation:
Salary: $70,000-$75,000 annually depending on experience
Overview:
- Report to Global Sales & Marketing Manager (GSMM)
- Communicate and collaborate with GSMM and other Sales & Marketing team members to draft, develop marketing campaign schedules and roll out
- Oversee Marketing Associate
- Responsible for the creation of content development and marketing communications, as well as social media visuals
- Manage VTR social media platforms and digital campaign software
- Website management and maintenance, including traffic tracking, content creation, reporting, and collaboration with 3rd party vendors for support
- Conduct company or project-specific research, compiling, analyzing and presenting or reporting findings
- Input Marketing Leads and other pertinent information into internal CRM software
- Support Inside Sales and GSMM to plan and execute Sales and other Networking Events
- Support HR Dept with organization of specific corporate events as required
- Support Sales & Marketing Dept with organizing travel and guest arrangements as needed
- Active member of the VTR Social Committee
- Support counterpart’s location and Marketing Team as needed
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values

What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar marketing role
- Strong understanding and practice of project management principles
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
- Previous experience using CRM software; Zoho or HubSpot preferred
- Strong knowledge of website management and maintenance; WordPress experience preferred
- Strong research skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns that align with corporate objectives
- Experience proposing and/or presenting thoughts, findings, solutions
- Experience creating presentations, reports, and dashboards
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, & Teams
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
- Exemplary customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong team player, with the ability to learn from others and transfer knowledge clearly
- Demonstrates adaptability and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment/industry
- Demonstrates innovative thinking and proactive/reactive problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to disseminate information in various forms
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and valid passport
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for customer visits and trade shows in North America and Europe
- Must be able to adequately manage credit cards/corporate cards
- Strong understanding of proprietary information and commitment to confidentiality

Work Conditions:
