Labourer

Purpose:
Performing a wide range of physical tasks to assist skilled workers and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Engage in manual labour, such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials, equipment, and tools
Assist in preparing the work site before the start of construction or other activities
Load and unload materials from trucks or delivery vehicles
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and other workers.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow instructions from supervisors or project managers and ask for clarification when needed
Help with demolition activities, such as breaking down structures, removing debris, and clearing the site

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

Strength and ability to perform strenuous tasks
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
Flexibility and adaptability to handle different tasks as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

2-3 years in construction related work preferred
