This role extends beyond traditional marketing responsibilities. We are looking for a strategic thinker who combines business acumen, digital expertise, analytical capabilities, and strong execution skills to help shape the future growth of the FOTILE brand in Canada.
Position Summary
The Marketing & Brand Growth Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support Fotile Canada's business objectives, revenue growth, dealer network expansion, customer acquisition, and brand leadership.
As a member of the management team, this individual will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership by translating market insights into growth opportunities, driving data-informed decision-making, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives contribute measurable business value.
The successful candidate will oversee brand strategy, digital marketing, social media growth, customer engagement, channel marketing, product launches, and market intelligence while building scalable marketing programs that support Fotile Canada's continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Business Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual marketing and growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to support business planning, market expansion initiatives, and revenue growth objectives.
- Identify new customer segments, market opportunities, partnership opportunities, and growth channels.
- Translate business priorities into measurable marketing programs and actionable initiatives.
- Manage marketing budgets, resource allocation, and performance measurement to maximize return on investment.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market intelligence, business trends, and performance analytics.
Brand Strategy & Market Positioning
- Strengthen and elevate Fotile's premium brand positioning across the Canadian market.
- Develop localized brand messaging and customer value propositions tailored to Canadian consumers.
- Ensure consistency of brand standards, messaging, and customer experience across all channels.
- Increase brand awareness, market visibility, and consumer consideration through integrated marketing initiatives.
- Monitor brand perception, customer sentiment, and competitive positioning.
Digital Marketing, Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition
- Lead digital marketing initiatives across paid, owned, and earned media channels.
- Develop and optimize programs including:
- Google Ads
- SEO & SEM
- Display Advertising
- Email Marketing
- Marketing Automation
- Retargeting Campaigns
- Website Optimization
- Design and improve customer acquisition funnels and conversion strategies.
- Monitor customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, lead quality, and campaign performance.
- Drive measurable growth in qualified leads, customer engagement, and revenue contribution.
Social Media Leadership & Community Development
- Own and lead Fotile Canada's social media strategy and content roadmap.
- Expand brand presence across:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- TikTok
- YouTube
- LinkedIn
- Xiaohongshu (RedNote)
- Develop engaging storytelling campaigns that strengthen brand affinity and customer engagement.
- Build and manage influencer, creator, and brand ambassador partnerships.
- Identify emerging social trends and leverage new opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
- Foster online communities that support customer loyalty and advocacy.
Market Intelligence, Analytics & Executive Reporting
- Conduct ongoing analysis of:
- Consumer behavior and purchasing trends
- Competitor activities and market positioning
- Industry developments and emerging opportunities
- Marketing performance and ROI
- Develop executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management reports.
- Deliver actionable business insights that support leadership decision-making.
- Utilize data analytics to optimize marketing investments and improve business outcomes.
Channel, Dealer & Trade Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing programs that support dealer, distributor, and retail partner growth.
- Create co-marketing initiatives that increase brand exposure and sales opportunities.
- Develop sales enablement materials, product marketing assets, and promotional programs.
- Support showroom marketing activities, dealer promotions, and channel development initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with builders, designers, architects, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution
- Lead the planning and execution of new product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate integrated go-to-market strategies across digital, retail, dealer, and trade channels.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to maximize market adoption and revenue impact.
- Monitor launch effectiveness and continuously optimize campaign performance.
Events, Partnerships & Industry Engagement
Manage company participation in:
- Home Shows
- Trade Exhibitions
- Design Industry Events
- Builder and Developer Events
- Community Engagement Activities
- Develop strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility and market influence.
- Represent Fotile Canada at industry events and networking opportunities.
Customer Experience & Voice of Customer
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, reviews, and market insights.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and online brand reputation.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience across the entire customer journey.
- Recommend initiatives that strengthen customer loyalty, advocacy, and retention.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, growth marketing, brand management, business development, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategy, and performance marketing.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret data and transform insights into business recommendations.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing analytics tools.
Preferred
- Experience within consumer products, premium brands, home appliances, building materials, or related industries.
- Experience supporting dealer, distributor, or retail sales channels.
- Knowledge of Canadian and Chinese consumer markets.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation systems, and business intelligence tools.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin is considered a strong asset.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: CAD $65,000 – $80,000 annually
