Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service at the cashier station.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
Previous experience in the food industry or food preparation is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with cash handling and cashiering is a plus.
