Job Title: Turnover Coordinator (Part-Time)

Established in 2017, our company emphasizes innovation, quality, and environmental protection to deliver comprehensive solutions within the oilfield industry.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Turnover Coordinator to support project turnover activities across fabrication, construction, and field service operations. This role is responsible for coordinating, compiling, and managing project turnover documentation to ensure all client requirements, project specifications, and quality standards are met.

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, ideal for candidates with previous experience in project document control, turnover coordination, QA/QC documentation, or construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate and coordinate with the Quality Manager regarding contract changes, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, and project documentation requirements.
Assist in the development and preparation of project turnover packages, including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, and supporting records.
Maintain accurate, organized, and current project turnover documentation throughout project execution.
Collaborate with the Quality team to manage project files, document control systems, and electronic document databases.
Compile and prepare turnover documentation for client review and final project close-out.
Ensure maintenance manuals, operating procedures, inspection records, and supporting documents are complete and up to date.
Track document status and follow up on outstanding deficiencies to ensure timely completion.
Participate in project meetings and support final turnover reviews with Quality Control personnel and client representatives.
Provide technical administrative support to project teams as required.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and project turnover standards.
Support continuous improvement of document control and turnover processes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in turnover coordination, document control, project administration, QA/QC support, or related roles within construction, fabrication, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
Strong understanding of project documentation and turnover package requirements.
Ability to read and interpret:
Isometric drawings
P&IDs
Fabrication spool drawings
Construction and engineering drawings
Experience managing electronic document control systems and project databases.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with Bluebeam or similar document management software is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting fabrication shop, maintenance, construction, or turnaround projects.
Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and turnover requirements.
Familiarity with client turnover expectations in the oil & gas industry.
Mandarin is an asset.

Working Conditions

Part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week).
Primarily based in Nisku, Alberta.
Regular coordination with project managers, QA/QC personnel, field teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Occasional visits to fabrication shops or project sites may be required.
Fast-paced, multi-project work environment.
