Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools and techniques. The Laser Operator will play a critical role in ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency in our production processes.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to blueprints and specifications
Operate laser equipment safely and efficiently to cut, engrave, or mark materials. Types of profiles to process will range from flat plate to structural profiles.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate production
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery to minimize downtime
Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications
Adjust machine parameters based on material type and thickness for optimal results
Support assembly processes by providing precision-cut components
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Experience

Past laser experience is advantageous, but in house training will also be available!
Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment
Knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations in manufacturing contexts
Experience with hand tools, tape measures, and quality inspection procedures is necessary
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance is highly desirable

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
